Rows for life?
Resistance training has been a part of my life for almost four years now. Back in the days when I started lifting, I simply followed what the trainers instructed me to do—quite typical for a newbie lifter. As time passed and my interest in fitness and wellness grew, I began approaching it from a different angle.
What started as a mission to bulk up as much as possible slowly transformed into a game-changer for my mental health. Every time I felt low or out of sync with my day-to-day activities, the gym was my sanctuary. I was chasing the dopamine and serotonin rush it gave me.
Lifting weights, in fact, became an escape from reality.
As my interest peaked, I started consuming more content in the domain of fitness. The deeper I delved, the more I realised there was a major issue lurking around—misleading information. The majority of personal trainers are not sufficiently qualified. With the advent of social media, the rise of scammy influencers were also on the rise. As they say, being bigger does not equate to more knowledge. Similarly, more social followers don't necessarily mean quality information.
And that’s how Gainswithkv was created. Through this platform, I hope to bust myths, educate, and raise awareness. I am by no means a scholar; heck, I don’t even have a degree in this field. I am just a regular guy who loves fitness and tries to understand the science behind it. Paralysis by analysis is real; hence, like every other page on the internet, treat this one with a pinch of salt. But I assure you, each grain of salt will be valuable.
Time to surpass your goddamn limits!
